BREAK THE SILENCE

VOICES FOR WISCONSIN'S FALLEN

SYMBOLISM

Over all look: Where each soldier is emerging from the State of Wisconsin's borders to serve, honor, protect, and pass along our most valued rights of Freedom shared under the colors of the Red, White & Blue. The Wisconsin boarder also serves as a reminder that, this Great Man or Woman is not only a Brother or Sister of the world, but a Son & Daughter of Wisconsin.

The Materials used for this concept are equally as important as the art; Each portrait is done upon a 8 1/2 X 11'' cardboard backing from a writing tablet, which signifies the act of communication, and the underline idea to Break the Silence and inform others of the unknown or little known facts or opinions.

All the writing tablets chipboards would be affixed to their own Printing Plate. The printing plates are a form of structure that held and still serves as a vehicle to hold one's views on the world. With the structure ,the plan is to have each piece curve out from the wall it would be placed on to meet the viewers eye to eye, as to be the direct viewing to one's subconscious. The hope is that the ideas and views never thought before, begin to wrap itself around the viewers mind and self, as the the viewer becomes one with the wall, the wall which holds up our Brave Heros' and helps them live on.
